How to Connect Samsung Printer to Wifi?

1) When the Samsung Printer is Connected to the Network

Below are the steps that you need to carry out to connect Samsung printer to Wi-Fi when your printer is connected to the network. 

Step 1: Enter the IP address of your printer in your internet browser

Step 2: Select the option of login given in the upper section of the display. 

Step 3: After that, click on the tab of Settings and then go to Network Settings

Step 4: Now, go to the left of your Display and then select the Wireless option. After that, you must turn on Wi-Fi Direct. 

Step 5: Then, you need to enter the following details. 

Name of the device: Enter the name of your printer. This will help you in searching for the device in your wireless network. The model name of the printer is the device name by default. 

IP address: You also need to enter the IP address of your printer. This IP address is used particularly for Wi-Fi Direct and not for the network. You must use the local IP address, which is 192.68.3.1. 

Network password: You need a network password for connecting your mobile phones to your printer device. You can do network password configuration on your own. You can also keep the password that is created by default. 

Step 6: Now, save the changes by clicking on Apply. 

When you turn on Wi-Fi Direct, then you need need to download the Samsung mobile print app for printing from your mobile device.  

2) Printer Samsung Connected to USB

Connect Samsung printer to Wi-Fi by connecting your printer device to USB. 

Step 1: Launch Easy Printer Manager and then select the Advanced mode. 

Step 2: Select the printer and then select Device Settings. 

Step 3: Now, choose the tab of Network Settings.

Step 4: Enable Wi-Fi Direct and then enter the details given below. 

Name of your printer: Enter the name of your printer. This way, it will be easy to search for your printer device on your wireless network. The name of the device is the model name by default. 

IP address: Enter your printer's IP address: The IP address is specifically needed for Wi-Fi Direct and not for the wireless network. You must use the default IP address i.e., 192.168.3.1

Network password: The network password is required for connecting your mobile phone to the printer device. You can do the network password configuration on your own or you can use the default network password. 

Step 5: Select Save located at the bottom right corner of your screen.

3) Using the Samsung Printer Panel

Step 1: Turn on your Samsung printer wireless machine.

Step 2: After that, go to the Menu button and then press it. 

Step 3: Now, use arrows and choose a network. After that, you need to select Ok. 

Step 4: Use the arrows one more time and then select the wireless option. After that, select Ok. 

Step 5: Then use the arrows and then select the option of Wi-Fi Direct. Then, select Ok. 

Step 6: Now, enter the details that you entered in the previous two parts. 

Step 7: Select the Back button and then go back to the Display screen

In the end, you need to download the Samsung mobile print app that you need to download to print from your mobile device.
